Description
At Casa Capri a spacious living room with multiple sitting areas stretches the width of the house, and a kitchen feels as though it opens onto the dining area and the square outside.
Casa Capri has been completely renovated in mid 2022, it is located on the first floor of an antique building at Piazza Santa Maria inside the walls of Lucca and has one bedroom with a double bed, one fine bathroom. Public bus transportation is available leaving from the Square underneath the apartments as well as several groceries, bakeries and delis. A free parking is located in 5 mins walk away from the apartment.
Later check in, up to midnight, are possible with a little surcharge of 50 euros to pay in cash upon the arrival . After midnight is require 100 euros.

This apartment was ideal for a couple. Very light and spacious, very clean, a comfortable bed, and a good shower with plenty of hot water. It has windows onto the piazza and is full of light but not in the direct sun so did not overheat (and the air con was efficient when needed). The location is great - very close to shops and just steps away from the walls. You can watch the town come to life in the morning from the windows over the piazza, but it was never noisy. We slept very well. We appreciated the recommendations in the apartment brochure: we ate at Anna and Leo's, Da Gigi, Al Borgo, Barella and (favourite) Da Guilio had drinks at Cafe St Zita - we recommend sitting in the garden and listening to the pianist and walked out to the park and river. The Lucca Summer Festival was on and that end of town was quite busy but you wouldn't have known about it where we were. We enjoyed evening walks on the walls and sitting in Piazza San Frediano watching the geckos on the walls and eating gelato from Gelateria Veneta.
There's lots to like about both the apartments we have stayed in (we stayed in Casa Rosalba previously), but one of the main reasons for recommending them is the exceptional service provided by Lucca Apartments and Villas. We will always use them when visiting Lucca. |

The location of the apartment is excellent! This is the best area of Lucca to be in

Cafes, restaurants, fruit and veg shop, good delicatessen, access to the walls , bus stops even bike rental all right on your doorstep! As is the Filungo the famous main shopping street The piazza is busy and fascinating by day and beautiful and floodlight by night. The double glazing works so well that the apartment can be totally quiet. The apartment itself is light and airy with high ceilings and beams.It is modern ,well appointed and makes clever use of space. The shower is very good and the bed with its mattress topper and good pillows is super comfy. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer,space. There are books, 2 big TVs and even a handy umbrella. We loved our time here. We enjoyed our stay very much. |
