Loved everything about the villa. It is perfect for a large group. The kitchen, with double ovens and two dishwashers, was great. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms, beautiful outdoor and common areas.

Wish there was more structured concierge service - ordering groceries, taxis, etc. The villa needs to be a little more equipped - there were not enough wine glasses, flatware and other kitchen items.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay in this wonderful villa in June/July 2023. The wonderful hospitality was greatly appreciated. The villa itself was excellent, with great views, lots of space, clean, and extremely quiet. The pool was excellent and the children loved it. A vehicle is needed, but the location is ideal for trips to Lucca, shopping, groceries, and sightseeing. We managed to tour a lot of the Northern Tuscany areas. Martina was extremely helpful and the service was excellent. We would highly recommend this villa to others and are intent on returning!

Perfectly located for visiting the cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Cinque Terre, but more importantly for our family of 8 adults and 2 children, a welcome retreat at the end of a touring day. The pool, the sunset seating, the clean, well appointed, spacious rooms far exceeded our expectations. We hope to return to Villa Francigena soon.

The villa was perfection. Our family had a wonderful stay. The company manager Lucca Apartments and Villas is lovely and so helpful. The pool is a dream and dinners on the deck each evening felt like paradise looking over the breathtaking view.
