Lucca Gustosa 2025: March 14th to 16th – The City Celebrates Authentic Food
The third edition of Lucca Gustosa is here, transforming the historic center of Lucca into a vibrant stage for flavors, traditions, and culinary culture. After the success of the previous editions, this year’s event features an exciting new collaboration with Peppone Calabrese, well-known TV personality from Linea Verde, who will co-organize the event alongside the municipal administration.
From March 14th to 16th, enjoy a rich program of show cooking, expert talks, theatrical performances, and local food markets across iconic locations including Piazza Anfiteatro, Loggiato di Palazzo Pretorio, and more.
Key Highlights:
Official Opening: March 14th at Villa Bottini, followed by a debate on the connection between food, territory, and industry professionals.
EaT – Enogastronomy at Theatre: March 14th at 9:00 PM with the performance Saga Salsa featuring Francesca Albanese, Silvia Baldini, and Laura Valli, exploring food, culture, and tradition.
Food Markets and Street Food: From March 14th to 16th, enjoy “Viva la Puglia” street food, artisan beer, and entertainment in Piazzale Don Baroni.
“Sapori d’Italia” Market: A showcase of Italy’s finest culinary delights, from Sardinia, Sicily, Tuscany, and Piedmont in Piazza Guidiccioni.
Wine Tasting at “Lucca In Vino”: Over 300 wine labels from Italy’s top wineries, plus Antico Pastificio Morelli.
Cooking Shows and Masterclasses: Includes presentations by Maria Cristina Bellelli, Peppone Calabrese, and Ambrogio Sparagna at various locations including Teatro San Girolamo.
Children’s Activities: Workshops like “I’ll be a Farmer when I Grow Up” at Centro Culturale Agorà and more.
The event concludes on March 16th with the “Cena delle 8 Osterie Slow Food” at Real Collegio, a special tasting dinner offering eight courses inspired by local traditions.
