Event Overview:
Maestro Riccardo Muti and the “Luigi Cherubini” Orchestra, exceptionally expanded to 130 musicians for its 20th anniversary, will perform on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Historic Walls of Lucca at 9:00 PM. This concert is a part of the special events celebrating Giacomo Puccini. The event  Puccini according to Muti will be broadcast live worldwide.

The concert is announced by State Undersecretary for Culture, Gianmarco Mazzi, and the Mayor of Lucca, Mario Pardini. It is organized by the Puccinian Celebrations Promoting Committee, established by the Presidency of the Council in 2022, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca, Teatro del Giglio, Lucca Summer Festival, and D’Alessandro e Galli.
